| Welcome to my custom order page! Here you will find out how the process of ordering a custom OOAK (one of a kind) sculpture goes, about the product you will receive, and so forth. I love making custom orders because it gives you, the customer, the chance to have a "hands on" kind of experience in creating your sculpt. Please browse through my galleries of past work to see my artistic style and to give you some ideas. If you don't see exactly what you had in mind...no worries! I love new challenges! SCULPTURES My sculpts are made from quality polymer clay. This is a manufactured clay that when cured properly, becomes hard and ceramic-like making it quite durable. Leaving a piece of art that will give many years of enjoyment. I use a lot of wire for support of certain pieces such as arms, legs, feathers, and feet. And on larger sculpts I am now using an aluminium foil center to help the sculpts not be as heavy and thick since this leads to cracking and easy breaking. After creation and properly baking, the sculpt is then completely hand painted with quality acrylic paints to give it the lifelike look. I take great pride in all my sculpts. They take many hours to do and they are done with a lot of work and love. You have my word that every creation that I do no matter how small or how large...will always be to the best of my abillity...nothing less. That is my guarantee. CUSTOM PROCESS *First off you will fill out the form below. This is an inquiry for me to speak to you about doing a custom sculpt. I will respond within 24 hours with answers to any questions you may have and may have some questions of my own for you about your sculpture. There may be several e-mails during this part of the process until we both understand the vision for the sculpt. (sketches may be done) I will send you a pricing sheet for your particular sculpture. *Once I get the final idea that you want I will send you an information e-mail giving you your price broken down, the estimated start and end date, what deposit it required (see Pricing below), and my policies. I will require you to read this very carefully especially about my policies. Then you will copy and paste the e-mail into a new e-mail and electronically sign the bottom in the appropriate place. (You will just type your name) Then send it to me and you are ready to go! *Now comes the waiting period....this is when you wait for the sculpt to be finished. I will give you an estimated start and finish time line as stated above. Sometimes orders can go more quickly than planned and in some instances I may start earlier than planned. But you will be notified if that is possible with your sculpt. When your sculpt is started, you will have the option to have progress pics sent to you during the entire process. Many customers enjoy watching their sculpt come to life. So if you do decide to do this, please be aware that there will be several e-mails to you showing you the process of making your particular sculpture. * At the end of the sculpting process...I will send you pics prior to baking. You need to study these pictures carefully and make sure the sculpt is to your liking. Once you approve...I will bake it and get ready to finish it. *Then the final step. Here I will send you several pics of the finished sculpt. Once you approve of the final pics....an invoice will be sent to you via e-mail and the sculpt will be packaged,boxed, and ready to go. Once payment is received in FULL, I will ship.(See payment and shipping below) You should receive your sculpture within 2-3 business day from date of shipment. PRICING Pricing of my custom orders cannot be categorized and set to a specific amount because it is just that...a custom order. Your price may not be the same as someone else due to the size, detail, and the accessories for each individual sculpt. But I keep my costs low and I am extremely flexible in working with you on price. My prices go on the size and the amount of detail that you are wanting. I will go over your options in the initial contact so that you can find a price that fits your budget. I also require a 30% deposit on all orders over $50. This secures your spot in my schedule and also covers the supplies for your project. PAYMENT & SHIPPING Upon completion of work, payment will be due within 7 days. However, I am flexible. I have set many customers up on payment plans or waited till their payday. Payment in full MUST be made within 30 days of sculpt completion on ANY of the payment arrangements. If payment is not received in full in that time period, you give up rights to your sculpture and your deposit (if there was one) and I will auction off your sculpt. After words, if you decide to hire me for another sculpt...you will be required to pay amount in full BEFORE sculpt is even scheduled. This is to protect me and my time for other customers who are waiting patiently for their sculptures. I prefer payments through Paypal, but will make arrangements for other methods of payment. If you will need to use an alternative to Paypal, please let me know when inquiring about a sculpt. I will ship your item ONLY when payment is received in full. I ship via US Postal Service using Priority Mail on smaller sculptures (under 6 inches ) It usually takes 2-3 business days to be delivered if in the US...International shipments will take longer. If your sculpt is larger than 6 inches...I will take it to the UPS store, have it "professionally" wrapped, and sent through UPS. I do this on my larger sculpts to help ensure that it arrives with no problems. I will also provide you either way with a tracking number so you can track it. Shipping Prices: Shipping prices are based on the weight of your sculpture and the supplies to package your sculpture. The e-mail that I send to you before starting your project will have your final price broken down and including shipping and handling charges for you to see where your money is going. |
