About Me
Arlissa Green        Knoxville, TN       e-mail:arlissagreen@yahoo.com
Hi, I am Arlissa Green. I am a simple person with a passion for creating.  I am a full time Mommy to a handsome
4 year old boy, and a part time artist. I am very blessed to be able to stay at home to raise my son. I spend my
days playing cars and blocks and during nap time and at night when my son and my husband go to bed...I stay
up and do what I love most...creating. All my life I have loved art. I won many awards for my art in my
younger years and was voted "Most Artistic" in both Middle School and High School by my classmates. I have
been blessed with the ability of being able to do a lot of different things. I can do woodwork, sculpt, paint,
draw, sew, and build. But I have been obsessed with sculpting things out of clay for about three years now. So
that is what I now put my time into...although I do a few other things in between also.

I always dreamed of having my own business. My mother and I did murals together on and off for years and
still do today. But I did other things, such as paint on wood, do wood crafts and birdhouses, and then I started
working with clay. I didn't want to make a lot of money, I just wanted to make people smile. And I now get to
do that and get paid doing it!
The biggest and most significant part of my career was finding out that I was known by people from around the
world.  I have shipped to just about all the US states, Europe, Canada, and Australia.  What started out as just a
hobby, has turned into a business that I always dreamed of. I sell mostly on Ebay and locally by word of mouth.
However,  I look forward to participating in expos and other craft shows in the future.

I am very blessed and I couldn't have asked for my life to have turned out any better. I have a wonderful family
and a huge circle of support from extended family and friends. I am healthy and just loving my life. Just taking
it one day at a time.
The biggest thanks that I could ever give anyone would have to
go to my husband. We have been together for almost ten years
total and he has been my rock throughout my life. I have had
some hard times in my life and he is always been there for me.
When everyone else give up or couldn't handle it...he was right
there. He is also my biggest fan.. He has inspired me to keep
going even when I didn't want to. He has come up with a lot of
my designs and helps me keep my business in check . With every
new sculpture he is there to tell me what is good or bad . He is
always amazed with each one...even after all these years. So
thank you Robby. Thank you for always being there. We have
shared many good times and many bad times. We have grown
with each year and learned from the last. Growing from a
rebellious teenager to a woman and then a wife and mother with
you has taught me so much. You have lifted me up and give me
wings to reach my dreams. I am so blessed to have you. Thank
you, thank you, thank you. I love you now, I will love you always,
forever and ever till the day I take my last breath.
There is someone else that I have to thank also.
This person is by no means last in anyway...if
anything she should be first...without her...there
would be no Arlissa. I am speaking of my
mother. My mother is a wonderful woman whom
I love more than life itself. My mother has been
so much to me, although sometimes she doesn't
see it. She is the greatest mother that anyone
could ask for. Was she a perfect mother?
No....who is? But I think she did a great job
granted it was ME she had to work with! But
she is not only my mother, the one who gave me
life...but also my best friend. Besides my
husband and my son...my mother means
everything to me. So thank you Mom. Without
you and your guidance not only through art but
also in life...I don't know where I would be. You
are awesome and I love you....always! Thank
you!
And finally I would like to thank all my extended family and
close friends for all their support. Without you guys...I think I
would have give up a long time ago.. But you persisted and
helped keep my spirits up. I appreciate everyone of you and I
feel blessed to have each of you in my life! So thank you from
the bottom of my heart! I love you guys!

I would also like to thank my son, Austin. Although he is only three...he is the highlight of my life and the reason I wake
up everyday. I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with him through these years. And although sometimes
Mommy has to work a little more than she ever expected to...he does really well with being patient with me. He has a
desk in Mommy's office that is "his office" and so we go to our offices and work. He will draw and color and even
sometimes helps me with my clay. So I am very blessed to have such a wonderful little man. I could not have asked for a
better child than the one that I have been blessed with. So thank you Austin and Mommy loves you!
