Frequent Questions and Answers
Q: What is polymer clay?
A: Polymer clay is a polymer pliable, bendable compound. It is not true clay from the earth, it is fine particles of
polyvinyl chloride (PVC) suspended in plasticize. Polymer clay is very versatile. It comes in a variety of colors,
only dries when cured in a regular home oven at low temp, and can be finished in several ways to obtain different
textures.

Q; What do you sculpt the most of?
A: I sculpt just about anything. I started off making birds and then when from there. So far I haven't found
anything that I can't sculpt. I am always up for a challenge!

Q: Do you only sculpt?
A: No, I also love to paint, do wood work, sew, and craft. I can do so many things...but the one I love the most and
that I am most known for is my sculpting.

Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: YES! That is the main part of my business! I love having time to just create the things in my mind...but
making custom orders is what I love. I get so much satisfaction from knowing something that I made with my
hands is bringing joy to someone else.

Q: How long does a custom order take?
A: I usually give myself a week on sculptures under 12 inches tall and two weeks if over 12 inches tall. Now this is
just the time it takes to make the sculpture...another time factor is the amount of orders ahead of you.

Q: Should I order my custom sculpture early when ordering for a holiday?
A: Absolutely. Holidays are very busy times for me. And when you look at I give each sculpture a week...weeks fill
up fast. Usually at Christmas I have to double up on weeks. So if you can...order early!

Q: How does the custom order process work?
A: *First you will go to the custom order page and find a list of all my items that can be customized at the bottom
of the page. Go to the right of the picture and description  and pick the quantity you want of that particular item.
Some have the option to come with or without a base....so please specify. So after you pick you quantity, click on
add to cart. It will take you to a confirm page where you can continue shopping or check out.
When ready to check out and pay and place your order you have two options...use your paypal account OR if you
don't have one...pay with debit or credit card. If using paypal...just click on paypal button. If not using paypal
click on "Check Out". Fill in all information needed. MAKE SURE TO GIVE A VALID EMAIL SO I CAN CONTACT
YOU! And that's it!

*Once I receive your order, I will contact you directly with confirmation within 24-48 hours. I will then ask for
the specifics and details of your order. It is then that you tell me exactly what you want your sculpture to be and
send me any pics that you may have. If I have tried contacting you without a response within 7 business days,
your money will be refunded and your order will be void.

*Now comes the waiting period....this is when you wait for the sculpt to be finished. I will give you an estimated
start and finish time line as stated above.  Sometimes orders can go more quickly than planned and in some
instances I may start earlier than planned. But you will be notified if that is possible with your sculpt. When your
sculpt is started, you will have the option to have progress pics sent to you during the entire process. Many
customers enjoy watching their sculpt come to life. So if you do decide to do this, please be aware that there will
be several e-mails to you showing you the process of making your particular sculpture.

* At the end of the sculpting process...I will send you pics prior to baking. You need to study these pictures
carefully and make sure the sculpt is to your liking. Once you approve...I will bake and then paint and finish it.

*Then the final step. Here I will send you several pics of the finished sculpt. Once you approve of the final
pics....an invoice will be sent to you via e-mail and the sculpt will be packaged, boxed, and ready to go.  Once
payment is received in FULL, I will ship. You should receive your sculpture within 2-3 business day from date of
shipment.

Q: Do you sell online on any other sites?
A: Yes! I sell on Ebay, Etsy, ECrater, Lov.li, Dawanda, Artfire, Silk Fair, Big Cartel, Bonanza, Made It Myself, and
Craft is art. All websites except Ebay, are all websites for handmade wares. You can find links to my shops at these
sites on my home page and on my links page.

Q: How do you ship your items?
A: I ship all my items Priority Mail through the postal service.

Q: Doesn't the Postal Service have a bad reputation for damaging boxes?
A: I can't really speak for them...I can only speak of my experience with them. I have used them for over 5 years
now and have had less than 20 items break in that time frame. And with as many shipments as I do in a
year...that is less than minimal. I have learned some tips and tricks as well. But, can I keep every person who
handles your box from throwing it or mishandling it? Of course not. Things can happen. But rest assured that in
the unfortunate circumstance that your item arrives damaged...it will be taken care of.

Q: Do you have a return policy?
A: Yes...but it is only for items that have been damaged or broken during the shipping process...NOT for a change
of heart. If your item arrives damaged, you must contact me within 2 days of receiving the item. I will ask for an
accurate description of the damage and pics if possible. Then I will ask that you ship the item back to be fixed or
refunded. Either way when the item is received by me, I will give you a refund if you request a refund including
your shipping costs. If you are having the item repaired, I will refund your shipping cost, repair item, and ship
back to you at no cost to you.

Q: When contacting you, how soon should I expect a response?
A: I try to answer my emails within 24  hours.

Q: What is your direct email address?
